Evacuation / Air Ambulance memberships cover expenses to bring you back home in event of an unexpected covered event. Air Ambulance provisions within other insurance policies generally only bring you to the nearest appropriate medical facility (not home).
Air Ambulance memberships are NOT insurance. They do not pay for medical or nonrefundable trip interruption expenses.
Air Ambulance / Evacuation is offered by the following:
Medjet Assist provides medical, legal and special services to any member traveling 150 miles or more from home, and medivac to your home or home hospital of choice if you are admitted to a land-based hospital for any reason, including Covid. I personally consider this absolutely essential, and never travel anywhere wthout it.

Covac Global - Covid 19 membership. This evacuation is triggered by a medically-administered positive Covid-19 test followed by a medical professional's assessment of Covid symptions. You do not need to be admitted to hospital. Covac will take you out of quarantine and bring you home. Covac has a list of restricted countries for which services cannot be provided.
